Pro Audio Systems Key to Summer Unlocked…

After the challenges of the last eighteen months, the PA Systems crew was more than excited to be back in thick of the action, supplying a real rig for some real gigs!

Summer Unlocked was a programme of free music, film and theatre performances that took place across various locations in Bradford during the summer holidays, and alongside Buskival, The Mill and Raven Staging, we were delighted to help deliver some live music by Bradford’s finest at the city’s iconic Mirror Pool site.

We rocked the series of events with a Meyer Sound system comprising MSL-4 tops and 700-HP subs, complemented by a Yamaha CL-5 digital mixing console, as well as all the necessary ancillaries.

Every kind of musical style under the sun entertained enthusiastic audiences, with acts like Mookie + The Bab, Edited People, Bailey P and Internet Raised, turning in fantastic performances that brought back energy and fun to the city centre. The Meyer Sound system made sure the audio was on point, as live music in Bradford returned with a vengeance!

Shure SLX-D Wireless System Delivers Robust Performance for Lucky Voice

Lucky Voice has been spreading the joy of Karaoke in the UK since 2005. In 2019 the company opened the doors to a 5000 sq ft venue in Holborn, London, which is home to ten state-of-the art private Karaoke rooms. In a recent upgrade to its microphone provision, the venue invested in Shure’s new-to-market SLX-D Digital Wireless system. Supplied by Pro Audio Systems of Bradford and installed by PSA Audio Visual, the system comfortably meets Lucky Voice’s requirement for high-quality audio, robustness and reliability.

Craig Walmsley, Senior Technician at PSA commented:

“Lucky Voice has been a previous user of Shure, and we knew that this was the only brand that was going to meet all the requirements of the brief.”

Peter Butler, Business Development Director at Pro Audio Systems adds:

“The SLX-D is a fantastic and versatile system that covers every base, from houses of worship to performance venues like Lucky Voice. A high-end karaoke bar demands superior audio quality, dependability AND durability, all of which define the new Shure system.”

Pro Audio Systems named as d&b audiotechnik Installation Partner

We are pleased to announce that the company has been appointed as an official Installation Partner by d&b audiotechnik. Our team has regularly demonstrated the skills and expertise required by the German manufacturer for the design and install of systems from its extensive range of products, as our Business Development Director Peter Butler, explains:

“The partnership has been established as a result of a number of converging factors which have been evolving and developing for some time. The historical relationship between Pro Audio Systems and d&b has forged a mutual respect for each other’s capabilities, and highlighted our  shared ethos.

Our businesses are a natural fit with one another, and we’re hoping the partnership will open doors and create new opportunities for each of us in different market sectors, whilst at the same time adding the d&b brand to our portfolio for the benefit of our existing client base and core markets.”

Bradford is #LiT

Bradford is #LiT

Pro Audio Systems (PAS) worked alongside Tapestry Arts, a multi-disciplinary arts complex based just off of the south west ring road in Bradford.

As part of LIT, a winter programme of light in unusual places across the Bradford District, and Bradford's City of Culture 2025 bid, PAS was tasked with bringing some light to the dark winter nights.

Tapestry Arts is based in an old mill site, and hosts not only a live music venue, but a recording studio, rehearsal rooms and a cafe.

The iconic chimney that towers over the adjacent buildings can be seen from the ring road and surrounding areas. It was the perfect location for the installation.

PAS installed 8 x OXO Pixyline 150 battens and 4 x Chauvet Rogue 1 Outcast Beamwash moving lights around the base of the upper chimney, with a pre-programmed show file to bring a changing pallet of colour and movement to the red brick monument.
